Job Summary
Deputy Director of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) oversees day-to-day operations, directly supervises two Associate Directors (Budget & Compliance and Data & Evaluation), and drives operational excellence, performance monitoring, and CMS grant compliance. Responsible for cross-initiative integration, strategic coordination, stakeholder engagement, and reporting across CMS-funded rural health transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with CMS cooperative agreements and Maine DHHS priorities.
Required Qualifications
- A 10-year combination of education, training and experience in public health, public administration, healthcare management, or related field progressively responsible experience in healthcare or government program administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational leadership, performance management, and team supervision.
- Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects or federally funded programs.
