Job Summary
Provide high-quality rheumatology physician care including comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for a diverse patient population. Develop and document plans of care with complete medical histories, perform physical examinations, make diagnostic and therapeutic decisions based on evidence-based guidelines, and prescribe essential medical procedures. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams to sustain therapeutic relationships, utilize electronic health records to optimize patient care, and uphold confidentiality, ethical principles, and professional standards. Demonstrate teamwork and leadership within a healthcare setting while maintaining patient-centered care and advocacy.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of Family or Internal Medicine Residency training
- Board certification
- Nebraska License to practice
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Two (2) years of experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
