Rheumatology - Medical Assistant - Full Time

Rheumatology MA with full-time hours providing patient-centered care in MMC’s Rheumatology Department. Responsibilities include setting up exam rooms, assisting doctors during office exams and diagnostic procedures, chart preparation, entering requested lab and x-ray orders in the EMR, and maintaining patient communications and education. Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and support a collaborative team to meet patient, doctor, and staff expectations. Requires completion of a Medical Assistant program or LPN license and current CPR certification. Familiarity with EMR, lab workflow, and patient education is essential; ability to handle fast-paced office duties and travel-ready responsibilities within an office setting is expected.
