Job Summary
Rheumatologist needed for MercyOne Medical Group in Northeast Iowa. Manage and treat patients with rheumatic diseases (musculoskeletal system, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases, and connective tissue disorders) in a predominantly outpatient practice with inpatient consults. Infusion therapy and advanced diagnostics performed on campus. Targeted to join a large primary care referral base within a multi-specialty partnership; details include a two-year salary guarantee moving to production-based compensation, starting bonus, relocation/moving allowances, and comprehensive benefits including paid malpractice and tail coverage. H-1B cap-exempt organization with J-1 candidates accepted; regional system serving ~280,000 residents with multiple facilities; opportunity to contribute to a growing rheumatology program within MercyOne Northeast Iowa.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO or equivalent
- Board-certified or eligible in Rheumatology
- Eligibility to practice in Iowa or ability to obtain license
