Job Summary
Provide comprehensive rheumatology consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients in a geriatric/long-term care setting at a multi-specialty Bronx practice. Manage chronic rheumatic conditions, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, maintain accurate medical documentation, and adhere to clinical guidelines in rheumatology. Required Qualifications
- Education: MD/DO from an accredited institution
- Licensure: Active New York State Medical License
- Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- Experience: Long-term care or nursing home setting experience is a plus
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and managing rheumatic and autoimmune conditions
- Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, empathy, patient-centered approach
