Job Summary
Rheumatologist sought to diagnose and treat inflammatory rheumatic diseases such as osteoporosis, tendinitis, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis; develop and administer treatment plans for musculoskeletal or autoimmune conditions and prescribe medications to relieve symptoms; consultative practice with limited inpatient consults; four-day workweek, full-time; hospital-employed with guaranteed base salary plus bonus incentives and significant recruitment incentives under a multi-year contract; comprehensive health benefits, retirement plans, CME support, and disability coverage in a collegial academic medical-center setting.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- eligible to obtain a state medical license
- completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Rheumatology
- board certified or eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine
