Rheum/Derm STAFF NURSE-RN

Rheum/Derm STAFF NURSE-RN at South Shore Health in Norwell and Quincy, MA. Full-time (36 hours) daytime shift. Delivers individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care using the nursing process; coordinates care across dermatology and rheumatology services; interfaces with physicians, care managers, health-care teams, patients, and families. Responsibilities include triaging dermatology and rheumatology concerns, managing medication refills and prior authorizations, coordinating tests and referrals, providing injection teaching and patient education, handling in-basket messages, scheduling procedures, and supporting walk-ins. Emphasizes safety, quality improvement, and compliance; requires strong communication, autonomous and collaborative work, and ability to document and plan care across the continuum. Requires active RN licensure in Massachusetts, BLS, and ACLS per role, with preferred BSN and ambulatory care nursing experience; shift times and duties align with hospital policies and patient needs.
