Job Summary
Rhapsody Integration Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and monitor healthcare interfaces using the Rhapsody Integration Engine; build, configure, and support HL7 v2.x and FHIR-based interfaces; manage RESTful APIs; perform data mapping, transformation, routing, and validation; troubleshoot integration issues; integrate EHR/EMR, LIS, RIS, PACS, and DICOM platforms; ensure HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security; produce technical documentation; provide post-deployment support and enhancements; collaborate with onsite teams, vendors, and QA to deliver integration solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare system integrations
- Strong hands-on experience with the Rhapsody Integration Engine
- In-depth knowledge of HL7 v2.x and FHIR messaging standards
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and message transformation concepts
- Basic understanding of SQL for troubleshooting and data validation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR, DICOM, and PACS integration workflows
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and multi-stakeholder teams
