Job Summary
RG Biomanufacturing Operator I at Aldevron (a Danaher company) performs tasks in the Upstream RG lab, including plasmid DNA purification and associated QC workflows. Responsibilities include bacterial inoculation and harvest, transformation, cell banking, linearization, gel electrophoresis, and plasmid purification/assessment using agarose gels with E. coli. The role involves training across teams within the Research Grade building and contributing to a team-based environment in Fargo, ND. The position is on-site with a Monday–Friday shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM).
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma required
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and work effectively in a team-based environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Experience in biology, chemistry, or molecular biology preferred (Associate’s degree or higher)
