Job Summary
Hands-on RF Test Technician to support testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of RF and electronic systems. Use advanced test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, DMM) to evaluate performance from DC to 40 GHz. Interpret electrical schematics and engineering docs, analyze RF/DC test data (voltage, current, power, insertion loss, return loss), diagnose and repair RF circuitry, perform component-level repairs with soldering tools, document results, and maintain records. Adhere to ESD, ISO, quality, and safety procedures; collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of RF testing, electronics testing, electronic assembly, or related technical environments
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with soldering, electronic repair, and precision hand tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
