RF Test Engineer

Job Summary
Develop test platforms for RF integrated passive devices and system-in-package modules, evaluating filters, couplers, and interposers. Coordinate with operations to manage production wafer acceptance testing, oversee technician activities for high throughput, and support yield improvement. Automate measurements and data analysis using Python and JMP to characterize electrical devices with vector network analyzers and source meters. Design PCBs, probe cards, and test fixtures for in-line and reliability testing while coaching engineers on RF procedures. Present data analysis results to engineering teams and upper management. Requires 5+ years of RF testing experience in a semiconductor environment, proficiency in Python, and ability to access ITAR/EAR controlled information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years of RF testing experience
- Previous experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with manual and automated wafer probers
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting language
- Experience with use for data analysis and automation
- Travel requirements of 10%
- Lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information
- US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident, or the ability to meet contract-specific licensure requirements
- Strong understanding of S parameters
- Knowledge of RF calibration
- Knowledge of deembedding techniques
- Circuit and EM simulation skills utilizing software such as ADS
- Strong statistical analysis skills including SPC, GR&R, Cp/Cpk
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering
- Previous reliability testing experience, including operating life testing, environmental reliability testing
- Familiarity with industry reliability standards such as JEDEC or MIL-STD
- A willingness to adjust to changing circumstances, processes, or technologies for continuous improvement in dynamic environments
- The ability to work well with others, fostering a cooperative atmosphere, driving data management initiatives, and engaging all levels of the organization
