Job Summary

RF Technician I/II responsible for the alignment, tuning, and testing of RF through millimeter-wave (mmW) products up to 110 GHz. Applies RF, MW, and mmW techniques to characterize and optimize assemblies and components (core-and-wire, LTCC, MMIC, passive/active devices). Performs testing, tuning, data generation, calibration, and maintains test equipment while supporting ISO audits and production quality goals.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering + 5 years of mmW Product Design/Test or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering + 3 years of mmW Product Design/Test or related field
  • Must have demonstrated hands-on ability to assemble, tune, test and troubleshoot hardware in a laboratory environment
  • Must have advanced PNA-X vector network analyzer experience
  • Experience in microwave and milli-meter wave hardware test and measurement to at least 40 GHz
  • Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and assembly drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Physical ability to perform soldering tasks
  • Basic understanding of surface mount and microelectronic chip-and-wire manufacturing methods
