Job Summary
RF Technician I/II responsible for the alignment, tuning, and testing of RF through millimeter-wave (mmW) products up to 110 GHz. Applies RF, MW, and mmW techniques to characterize and optimize assemblies and components (core-and-wire, LTCC, MMIC, passive/active devices). Performs testing, tuning, data generation, calibration, and maintains test equipment while supporting ISO audits and production quality goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering + 5 years of mmW Product Design/Test or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering + 3 years of mmW Product Design/Test or related field
- Must have demonstrated hands-on ability to assemble, tune, test and troubleshoot hardware in a laboratory environment
- Must have advanced PNA-X vector network analyzer experience
- Experience in microwave and milli-meter wave hardware test and measurement to at least 40 GHz
- Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and assembly drawings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Physical ability to perform soldering tasks
- Basic understanding of surface mount and microelectronic chip-and-wire manufacturing methods
