Job Summary
Design and implement DSP algorithms in software to exploit signals, focusing on high-throughput processing, low signal-to-noise ratios, and adaptive modulations. Conduct modifications to existing software and firmware to adapt commercial products for special government needs. Provide concise explanations of developed models to enable other team members to utilize algorithms for processing signals of interest. This role supports the full system lifecycle of Quick Reaction Capability solutions within Signals Intelligence. Annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $68,000 paid bi-weekly. Work is based in the Hanover, MD area with no telework authorized.
Required Qualifications
- A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph
- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline in DSP algorithms from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of RF Software or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes
- Formal training in, or demonstrated proficiency with, C++/Linux experience
- Four (4) years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes
- Four (4) years of experience with C++, Linux, Python, or a similar development language
- Two (2) years of Master's of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (substitutable for degree)
- Four (4) additional years of DSP experience (substitutable for degree)
- Work at Hanover, MD area
- No telework authorization
