Job Summary
Lead a section of 15 to 20 engineers on RF Radar subsystem design, integration, testing, and production support for programs like the NASAM Sentinel Radar. Manage staffing plans, drive team development, and mentor junior staff while executing proposal development, Basis of Estimates preparation, and cost estimation. Oversee Earned Value Management System reporting, including Program Performance Reviews and Variance Analysis, to ensure delivery on time and within budget. Collaborate with Command and Control teams and senior leadership to align organizational goals and mitigate risks. This 1st shift, 100% onsite role in Fullerton, CA combines 75% hands-on technical contribution with 25% functional team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Active and existing DoD Secret level security clearance
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 10 years of prior work experience (with STEM degree)
- Minimum 7 years of prior work experience (with Advanced Degree)
- Experience with RF Radar subsystem design, test, and integration
- Experience in leading multi-disciplined engineering team
- Experience working on designs from concept through production
- Willingness to travel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Network integration for Command Center programs
- Front Line Leadership Training
- Functional leadership or IPTL/CAM experience
- Program Management Certification, or Equivalent
- Experience in proposals and developing technical solutions and writing portions of both technical and cost volumes
- Experience with presenting technical results to Program Leadership
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to function effectively as part of a larger team
