Job Summary

Conduct thorough tests on customer RF equipment, including over-the-air, closed-loop bench, antenna, and digital radio evaluations, to provide detailed results and insights for Army equipment acquisition decisions. Develop innovative solutions for complex problems on Army Tactical Networks by applying advanced technical expertise in RF propagation, IPv4 usage, and Software Defined Radios. Gather and analyze customer requirements to identify potential solutions, while documenting all test plans, procedures, and findings. Maintain a Secret clearance and possess a Bachelor's degree. This role supports America's critical defense priorities by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to advance and protect the nation.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with RF, including RF propagation
  • Experience with performing over-the-air (OTA) tests, closed-loop bench tests, antenna testing, and RF testing
  • Experience with writing engineering test documentation and reports, including test plans, procedures, and results
  • Experience with IPv4 usage
  • Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR) and digital radios
  • Knowledge of a mobile ad hoc network (MANET) and RF modulation and multiplexing schemes
  • Knowledge of networking functions, servers, and virtual machines
  • Ability to gather and analyze customer requirements and identify potential solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree
