RF Integration Technician responsible for setting up, executing, and analyzing test experiments, performing regression testing of software baselines in a lab environment, and collaborating with engineering to troubleshoot production-related issues. Responsibilities include updating test systems for automation and coverage, maintaining calibration of electrical/mechanical test equipment, documenting test plans and manuals, and traveling to test sites as required. Requires 4+ years in electronics testing in an R&D setting, familiarity with RF and electronics test equipment, strong root cause analysis, and U.S. person status for export-controlled data access. Costa Mesa, CA on-site role with a salary range of $37-$50 per hour (annualized to $76,960–$104,000), plus benefits and equity opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of electronics testing experience in an R&D environment
  • Familiarity with product development life cycle, reliability, and compliance testing
  • Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscope, function generators, data acquisition and measurement sensors
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generator, power meters
  • Strong root cause analysis skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to pivot quickly between tasks and prioritize simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related fields (preferred)
  • Familiarity with reading electrical system and component schematics (preferred)
  • Experience with equipment calibration and metrology (preferred)
  • Experience with electrical compliance testing such as EMI/EMC testing (preferred)

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related fields
  • Proficient at troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronics and integrated circuits to the component level
  • Experience with IPC Quality Standards, IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD and other assembly and inspection standards
  • Experience with equipment calibration and metrology
  • Experience with electrical compliance testing such as EMI/EMC testing
