Job Summary
RF Engineering Lead responsible for guiding the design, development, and delivery of high-performance RF/microwave systems for aerospace/defense/space. Lead the design and architecture of RF subsystems, perform cascade analyses and link budgets for radar, telemetry, and communications, and oversee simulations using ADS/AWR/HFSS/CST/MATLAB. Act as technical authority across projects, support design reviews (PDR/CDR/TRR), collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to NPI, and line-manage RF engineers and technicians. Drive improvements in RF methodologies and engineering practices, engage with customers/partners, and contribute to bid/proposal efforts. Eligible for full security clearance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
- Extensive RF and microwave engineering experience including circuit design, simulation, and system integration
- Proven track record delivering RF projects in aerospace/defense/high-reliability industries
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers)
- Experience leading technical teams and managing engineering activities
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles and regulated standards

- Proficiency with RF tools (ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST, MATLAB)
- Experience delivering RF engineering projects in aerospace/defense/high-reliability sectors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to mentor and develop engineers
- Experience with NPI and design reviews (PDR/CDR/TRR)
- Security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain clearance
- Customer and partner engagement experience
- Continuous improvement mindset in RF design methodologies
