Job Summary
Design and develop RF components and subsystems, conducting system-level analysis and simulations to optimize performance. Perform RF testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications while collaborating with cross-functional hardware, software, and systems engineering teams. Stay abreast of emerging technologies in RF systems and write technical documents and briefings. Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of academic/research/industry experience with significant aptitude in RF design
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools such as ADS, CST, HFSS, or similar
- Strong understanding of RF principles including waveform design, signal processing, and antenna theory
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a mission-focused, operational environment
- Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
- Interpersonal skills to enable working in a diverse and dynamic team
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
- Writing and delivering technical documents and briefings
- Verbal and written communications skills as well as organizational skills
- Travel occasionally as necessary
- WFO with alternate Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with RF hardware design, including transmitters, receivers, and antennas preferred
- Familiarity with RF testing equipment and methodologies, including spectrum analysers and network analysers
- Experience with software-defined RF systems
- Familiarity with RF signal processing algorithms and techniques
- Experience with RF testing and validation
