Job Summary
Defines, designs, and develops RF integrated circuits and creates verification test plans for RF validation in Process Design Kits. Conducts transistor-level feasibility analysis, defines floorplan and layout for RF circuit architecture, creates test benches, and verifies and debugs design to meet specifications. Reviews system specifications to ensure designs meet customer needs and comply with codes/standards. Designs new product concepts and prototypes, creates detailed drawings of circuit designs, and develops test procedures. Applies understanding of electromagnetic theory, communication theory, RF test equipment, RF and wireless circuit design, RF system analysis, RF system block characterization, and Lab RF Measurements (sil2sim, sim2sim, Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting).
Required Qualifications
- MS degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD degree with 1+ years of experience in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
- Experience with Design and Testing Integrated Circuits with fundamentals in AMS/RF
- Experience Device Physics and knowledge of Advanced IC Technologies
- Experience working with Process Design Kits and Collaterals development
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens and/or Synopsys IC Design tools
- Familiar with Unix Shell, Python, Skill, Tcl, Pcell, Ocean scripting
