Job Summary
Design and troubleshoot RF systems using off-the-shelf components, integrating them onto the launch vehicle. Plan and implement qualification and acceptance testing, including field tests and analysis simulations. Perform RF-related literature reviews to meet telemetry and flight termination standards from RCC, IRIG, and ECSS. Develop and maintain Python scripts for analysis while preparing high-accuracy engineering documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of small launch vehicles for LEO deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master study in telecommunications/RF/microwave engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- Strong foundation in digital RF communications theory: modulation, forward error correction, software defined radios, and DSP
- Strong foundation in electromagnetic principles, antenna theory/design, transmission line theory, link margin analysis, electronics/embedded systems, and RF simulation
- Hands-on experience with programming languages including Python, C, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Fluent oral and written English skills
