Job Summary

Design wireless hardware for hearing aids and accessories through the product development process, conducting testing and troubleshooting to characterize unit and system-level RF performance. Drive continuous improvement in products and processes while supporting the transfer of product knowledge into manufacturing and providing work direction to technicians. Requires proficiency in RF hardware design, antenna design, electromagnetic theory, and simulation tools, with a Master's degree plus two years of experience or a Bachelor's degree plus five years. Full-time, five days a week in-office position with a salary of $130,291/year.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field
  • 2 years' experience with RF or Optics Design
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field
  • 5 years' experience with RF or Optics Design
  • demonstrated proficiency with RF hardware design concepts, practices, and procedures
  • demonstrated proficiency with antenna design and testing
  • demonstrated proficiency with design and test methods for body-loaded consumer electronics
  • demonstrated proficiency with electromagnetic theory
  • demonstrated proficiency with oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, and spectrum analyzer
  • demonstrated proficiency with antenna and circuit simulation tools
  • demonstrated proficiency with MATLAB
  • 5 days/week in-office
