Job Summary

Operate rewinding equipment to slit and rewind printed materials to customer specifications, including setting up jobs with core loading, blade positioning, and tension adjustments. Inspect finished rolls for defects and ensure they meet width, diameter, and winding quality standards while managing roll changes, splicing, and material handling. Record production data, perform routine cleaning and maintenance, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues before escalating to supervisors. Package finished rolls for shipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Full-time role with 2nd shift or weekend availability strongly preferred; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits provided.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work safely around moving equipment in a moderately loud production environment
  • Visual acuity to distinguish color, detail, and print quality
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Availability for 2nd shift or the weekend shift

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment or working in a production environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and consistency
  • Ability to identify defects in printed materials and take corrective action
