Job Summary
Operate a Rewinder machine to manage rolls of material, maintain unwind position per specifications, monitor print and seam quality, remove defects and splice roll webs, and palletize materials without damage. Use a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing; record data in paperwork and company systems; participate in special projects and other duties as assigned. Requires basic arithmetic for label counts, ability to use Windows-based software, physical tasks including standing, walking, occasional climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds; includes vision requirements (close/distance/color/depth) and a commitment to inclusive, equal-opportunity work culture. Located at MCC facilities in Kansas City, MO and Algoma, WI with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to use simple Windows-based applications
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing and walking; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed
- Color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
