Job Summary
Revit Electrical/MEP Designer needed at AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre in Mumbai to deliver high-quality BIM models and electrical design documentation for medium to large-scale industrial, mining, petrochemical, and nuclear infrastructure projects. Role requires proficiency in Revit Electrical, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and multidisciplinary coordination, with emphasis on power and lighting layouts, RCP coordination, raceways, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems in compliance with international codes. Responsibilities include creating 3D models, detailed construction drawings, quantity take-offs, material requisitions, clash detection, vendor documentation review, and supporting client model reviews. The designer is expected to work both independently and within a global delivery team, mentor junior designers, maintain QA/QC standards, and contribute to cross-disciplinary coordination and project parameter checks.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate or Engineering Diploma or ITI with experience between 4 to 8 Years in building services, Industrial Chemical, Mining & Metallurgy and Petrochemicals multidisciplinary projects
- Thorough awareness of international codes and standards used for MEP design in the industry
- Capable of producing Revit model independently in coordination with other disciplines
- Proficient in Revit modeling, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
- Familiar with EDMS (Electronic Data Management System)
- Experience with 3D modeling, construction drawings, QA/QC, and client model reviews
- Mentoring junior designers and guiding a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English; ability to work in a global delivery environment
- Ability to work independently and manage design tasks to time and cost constraints
