Job Summary
Model mechanical systems in Revit for semiconductor fab clients, maintaining work sets, linked models, and building reusable families for valves and tool interfaces. Run clash detection in Navisworks, prepare issue logs, and coordinate with architecture, structural, and electrical teams during multi-discipline sessions. Perform self-checks and QA/QC reviews to verify model completeness and annotation accuracy before issue for construction. When BIM demand decreases, transition to design support tasks including equipment layout routing, load calculations, and sheet production while applying codes like IMC and SEMI standards. Conduct field walks to verify existing conditions and update models accordingly. Work onsite daily in North Phoenix with access to AI tools for productivity enhancement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in mechanical/HVAC design, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technology
- Working knowledge of Revit for mechanical modeling, including families, work sets, and linked models
- Demonstrated professional experience with Revit
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, specifications, and equipment cut sheets
- Baseline familiarity with mechanical codes and standards
- Willingness to build depth quickly in mechanical codes and standards
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work onsite daily in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to follow all SSOE and client onsite safety protocols
- Fully onsite work schedule at the client facility in North Phoenix, Arizona
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360
- Exposure to Dynamo or Python scripting for Revit automation
