Job Summary
Model electrical systems in Revit for semiconductor fab clients, maintaining work sets, linked models, and reusable families for conduit and tool interfaces. Run clash detection in Navisworks, prepare issue logs, and turn red-line markups into coordinated model updates during weekly multi-discipline coordination sessions. Perform self-checks and QA/QC reviews to verify model completeness and annotation accuracy, then produce sheets, plans, and schedules for issued-for-construction packages. When BIM demand decreases, transition to design support for equipment layouts, load calculations, and drawing production while applying codes like IMC, IBC, and SEMI standards. Work onsite daily at the North Phoenix facility, conducting field walks to verify existing conditions and update models accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in electrical design, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology
- Working knowledge of Revit for electrical modeling, including families, work sets, and linked models
- Demonstrated professional experience with Revit
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and equipment cut sheets
- Baseline familiarity with electrical codes and standards
- Willingness to build depth in electrical codes and standards quickly
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work onsite daily
- Willingness to follow all SSOE and client onsite safety protocols
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to Dynamo or Python scripting for Revit automation
