Job Summary
Prepare detailed dimensional drawings and design layouts using Revit and AutoCAD (CADD) for design and plan preparation. Produce detailed drawings from rough sketches and redline corrections, topographic surveys, and other inputs, following company and client CADD standards. Work in a team environment under the supervision of Project Managers, Engineers, or Lead Technicians. Assist with graphics or drawings for proposals and project interviews, and support printing, filing, and document preparation. Maintain strong attention to detail and collaborate in regular meetings with project teams; participate in training to develop technical and interpersonal skills; may require overtime to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-Year Technical Degree in Drafting (highly desirable)
- Minimum 2 years Revit and AutoCAD experience
- Willingness to become proficient in AutoCAD
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, Google SketchUp Pro or ARCMap GIS is a plus but not required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate a computer in an office setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
