Job Summary
Revit and AutoCAD Technician needed to produce detailed Revit and CADD drawings for design and plan preparation for various projects. Primary responsibilities include providing detailed Revit and CADD drawings during design and plan preparation; work in a team environment under the supervision of a Project Manager, Engineer or Lead Technician; additional duties include assisting with preparing graphics or drawings for proposals and project interviews, printing, filing and document preparation. Requires 2+ years of Revit and AutoCAD experience, HS diploma, 2-year drafting degree desirable, proficiency in AutoCAD, familiarity with Civil 3D/SketchUp/GIS a plus, strong attention to detail, and ability to work both in-office and offsite with a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A 2-Year Technical Degree in Drafting is highly desirable (applicable experience may be accepted).
- A minimum of 2 years of recent Revit and AutoCAD experience is required.
- Working knowledge and willing to become proficient in AutoCAD software is required.
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, Google SketchUp Pro or ARCMap GIS considered a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must be willing to interact with people and work in team environments.
- Must be detail orientated, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A valid driver’s license is required or the ability to obtain one.
- Essential Tasks and Duties include preparing detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit; following directions from Project Managers/Engineers; attending meetings; training opportunities; overtime may be required.
