Job Summary
Assist in reviews of Cross-Connection/Backflow Prevention installations on water service lines; evaluate applications and plans to ensure DEP standards are met; finalize reviews within departmental timeframes; maintain and coordinate test reports in the Cross Connection Control database; participate in meetings with applicants/design engineers regarding Cross-Connection requirements; conduct investigations and prepare formal reports on the Cross-Connection Control Program; communicate with supervisors and team to track project status and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in civil engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work; or A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and a Master's degree from an accredited college in civil engineering.
