Job Summary
Own the end-to-end RMA process, including intake, authorization, inspection coordination, and disposition decisioning for repairs, scrap, or vendor returns. Compile documentation for vendor claims and chargebacks, then present quarterly slide decks on return trends and product failures. Lead monthly workshop meetings to drive process improvements, update standard operating procedures, and convert manual reporting into automated workflows using NetSuite or Salesforce. Partner with Sales, Customer Support, and Fulfillment to enforce consistent policies and reduce avoidable returns through client education. Maintain accurate return logs and ERP data integrity while acting as the primary escalation point for internal stakeholders and clients. Operate in a warehouse environment requiring PPE, with a full-time schedule in California at $25-$29 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in RMA processing
- Demonstrated success building or improving cross-functional processes and driving policy adoption without formal authority over other teams
- MRP/ERP experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable challenging existing processes and independently proposing and implementing changes
- General understanding of testing and / or pairing Rently products
- Review and verify warranty information according to company policies
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (e.g., VLOOKUPs)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent related certification preferred
- NetSuite ERP and Salesforce CRM preferred
