Job Summary

Reverse engineer software, firmware, and hardware for potential vulnerabilities; modify device firmware and software to achieve additional effects or alternate communications; operationalize proof-of-concept code with testing, documentation, and integration with sponsor systems; propose ideas for internal/external funding; share knowledge through papers and presentations to government decision makers, team members, and senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of proven experience reverse engineering or developing offensive cyber capabilities
  • Understanding of OS fundamentals and internals, exploitation techniques, and mitigations
  • Development experience in low-level languages such as assembly or C/C++
  • Experience with software or hardware debuggers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility to acquire a Secret level security clearance by start date and ultimately TS/SCI; U.S. citizenship required

Additional Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required for eligibility to access classified information
  • Must be able to obtain Secret clearance and ultimately TS/SCI clearance
