Revenue Cycle Team Lead

Job Summary
Respond promptly to internal and external customer questions and billing inquiries while collaborating with multiple departments to resolve revenue cycle and billing issues. Support daily revenue cycle operations by monitoring claim activity, identifying posting errors, and researching complex account and payer problems to ensure accurate processing. Serve as the department's subject matter expert by developing training for team members, explaining billing processes with clarity, and recommending process improvements based on identified trends. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of revenue cycle systems and account information throughout the entire revenue cycle. Provide backup support for department leadership when needed while working collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of revenue cycle experience
- Proven proficiency with Revenue Cycle systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to understand and follow HIPAA regulations
- Understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding, electronic claims filing and billing systems, and Microsoft programs
