Job Summary
Complete tasks to ensure reports, filings, and documentation are compliant with regulatory guidelines. Automate processes using available technology solutions and bots to aid in application builds. Provide resolutions for Revenue Cycle Operations system issues and communicate status updates with end-users. Collaborate with vendors to develop innovative system solutions that meet new regulations and operational needs. Act as a mentor to entry-level analysts while working independently under the direction of a Lead Revenue Cycle Analyst. Propose recommendations to management to outline project timeframes and direction. This mid-level position supports various hospital revenue cycle software modules including Epic across NYU Langone Health.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or technology related field
- Ability to demonstrate analytical/communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in an area such as business, finance, technology or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a hospital revenue cycle operations or healthcare technology related field
- Certified in one or more Epic modules, preferably Resolute Hospital Billing/Claims
