Job Summary
Review pre-billing filters to ensure claims submit cleanly across commercial and government payors, then process high volumes of claims with strict attention to detail. Monitor and respond to a high volume of emails, while processing insurance, entity, and authorization updates for time sheets. Audit Excel-based reports, identify billing discrepancies, and escalate issues proactively to minimize rejections. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve workflow bottlenecks and support efficient revenue cycle operations. This hybrid role includes an on-site day every other Wednesday at the Empire State Building in New York, with remote workdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
- Experience auditing reports and working with large data sets
- Self-starter with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new processes
- Strong sense of accountability and follow-through
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude
- Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Hybrid Schedule: Every other Wednesday is an on-site workday at our corporate office located in The Empire State Building, New York, NY. All other workdays are remote, with standard hours of 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET
Desired Qualifications
