Job Summary
The Revenue Cycle Specialist will process, review, and file insurance to resolve claim payments and assist patients with billing questions and collections. Responsibilities include handling Medicaid/Medicare claims, entering insurance information into ACS Compumed System, submitting claims, following up with payors, resubmitting unresponsive claims, answering phones to resolve billing issues, and maintaining billing information for audits. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of insurance AR/post-claim follow-up experience; physician billing experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry; strong grammar/spelling/punctuation and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
