Revenue Cycle Specialist I in a clinic billing department responsible for processing insurance payments, auditing accounts for accurate posting, and ensuring payments align with contracts. Role requires knowledge of reimbursement policies (in-/out-of-network, deductibles, co-insurance), ability to train staff, audit patient ledgers, and post payments/adjustments daily. Remote-work capability available when needed; familiarity with MCO products (HMO, PPO, POS) and revenue cycle metrics. Emphasis on ensuring accurate postings, handling denials, and collaborating with departments to meet goals. Strong typing (50 wpm) and clear communication with patients and team members are essential.
Required Qualifications
