Job Summary
Revenue Cycle Senior Manager at West Cecil Health Center oversees the end-to-end Revenue Cycle: from patient registration and insurance verification to service coding, reimbursement, receivables, and information systems. The role partners with the CFO on strategic policies, benchmarks performance with KPIs, and drives improvements in workflow automation to reduce errors and improve financial outcomes. Responsible for departmental budgeting, reporting, and ensuring timely collections, with leadership over the Revenue Cycle team and cross-functional training aligned to the center’s mission and HIPAA privacy practices. On-site role based in Conowingo, Maryland, with local travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)
- CPT Coding: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical Billing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration, or a related field is required
- Master’s degree is preferred; equivalent education and experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, including clinic management, patient management, accounts receivable and payable, and marketing and public relations
- Strong background in financial management and knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to healthcare management
- Proven leadership and managerial skills, including team development, coaching, mentoring, and situational assessment
