Job Summary
The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for managing all billing and revenue cycle functions to maximize cash flow and enhance customer relations. This role includes overseeing insurance verification, coding, claims submission, and collections. The manager develops policies to improve quality and efficiency, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and trains staff in billing processes. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, extensive billing experience, and supervisory experience, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills. Proficiency in healthcare operations and applicable laws is vital.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of medical billing experience
- Minimum of three years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of professional fee billing, reimbursement, and third party payer regulation
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to healthcare operations
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the physician credentialing process
- Tribal Clinic experience
- Tribal enterprise experience
- Medical (NextGen), Dental (Dentrix), Behavioral Health (NextGen) and Pharmacy (QS30) EMR experience
