Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or related field required
- Minimum 5 years in medical billing and insurance
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in ICD-10 and CDT coding
- Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations
- Must obtain coding certification (AAPC or AHIMA) within one year
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience in dental billing
- Experience with third-party contracts
- Experience in nonprofit healthcare settings
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Billing certificate program
