Job Summary
On-site Revenue Cycle Manager at OrthoAlaska's Anchorage office, reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Revenue Cycle Department, delivering monthly progress reports, developing training materials, maintaining control of unapplied credits and timely refunds, overseeing staff performance and scheduling, participating in hiring, and directing activities from claims submission through payment posting, pre-authorizations, provider communications, coding audits, and AR follow-up to ensure efficient, accurate patient billing and revenue cycle performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years medical office management and leadership experience that includes Revenue Cycle Management processes
- Experience with medical coding
- Familiarity with Drug Code Units and ASP calculations
- Bachelor’s degree in health care management or business; experience may substitute for degree when combined with Associate Degree relevant to management or equivalent
