Job Summary
Oversee all RCM functions within the Sensei EMR/PMS environment to maximize cash flow while maintaining strong internal and external relationships. Monitor full-cycle performance metrics including DSO, denial rates, and AR aging to execute corrective action plans, ensuring timely claim follow-up and payment posting. Resolve complex billing discrepancies and escalated denials in coordination with insurance carriers, practice teams, and patients, while auditing offshore vendor performance and daily payment posting. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for RCM workflows, train the in-house Sensei team on billing best practices, and lead cross-functional alignment for the Sensei EMR/PMS platform rollout. Enforce proper documentation and coding practices, manage month-end close deliverables and variance analysis, and review patient and insurance refund requests. Partner with Finance and Accounting on operating policies and participate in monthly Surgeon AR review meetings to drive overall departmental performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of healthcare management experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
- Proven track record of process optimization
- Proven experience in medical billing
- Deep understanding of health insurance payers and reimbursement structures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and ability to resolve high-priority inquiries diplomatically
- Ability to thrive, adapt, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
