Job Summary
Oversee all revenue cycle functions including patient access, billing, payment posting, collections, coding, credentialing, and EHR operations for Valley Family Health Care. Lead and develop customer service teams while optimizing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cash flow. Manage accounts receivable, resolve denials, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations across Oregon and Idaho. Build strong relationships with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, negotiate contracts, and monitor key performance indicators. Collaborate with clinical and finance departments to align workflows and ensure seamless patient-centered access.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
- Experience in registration
- Experience in scheduling
- Experience in billing
- Experience in coding
- Experience in payment posting
- Experience in accounts receivable management
- Experience in an FQHC setting
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement revenue cycle initiatives and achieve measurable results
- Demonstrated ability to develop training and accountability systems for patient access (front desk) teams
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Advanced competency in utilizing and optimizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant healthcare technology
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding principles
- Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations (federal, state, and payer-specific in Oregon and Idaho)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Knowledge of payer requirements
- Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an FQHC setting
- Prior experience with OCHIN Epic
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement revenue cycle initiatives and achieve measurable results
