Job Summary
Lead the daily operations of the complete healthcare revenue cycle for a multi-physician practice, overseeing front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end functions to ensure accurate billing, timely reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and optimized financial performance. Drive process improvement, coach supervisors and staff, and own results in a hands-on leadership role. Role requires collaboration with clinical operations, finance, compliance, and IT, with the position based in the San Diego office on a hybrid schedule (onsite 2-3 days a week).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Five (5) years of current/progressive revenue cycle management experience for a practice of 10+ physicians/APPs OR a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field plus three (3) years of current/progressive revenue cycle experience for a practice of 10+ physicians/APPs
- Three (3) years prior experience managing employees at different levels
- Demonstrated hands-on experience leading full revenue cycle operations
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, claims, collections processes and strategy, reimbursement methodologies, and payer processes
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial and operational data
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
