Job Summary
Revenue Cycle Insurance Supervisor responsible for frontline leadership of hospital insurance A/R follow-up, denials resolution, and staff supervision. Oversees accounts receivable processes, coaching and monitoring productivity and quality, addressing performance issues, onboarding new staff, and escalating complex matters. Collaborates with Coding, CDI, UR, Case Management, Registration, and Compliance; focuses on denial prevention, payer disputes, and first-pass denial reduction while tracking KPIs, ensuring accurate audit-ready documentation, and maintaining CMS/payer regulation compliance. Supports physician billing as assigned and fosters cross-functional teamwork to optimize cash flow. Relies on associate/bachelor-level education and 1–2 years of hospital revenue cycle experience with supervisory exposure; relocation is available and on-site work in Sebring, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years hospital revenue cycle experience (A/R & denials)
- Prior lead/supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of hospital reimbursement and payer regulations
- Strong coaching, communication, and accountability skills
