Job Summary
Role focuses on follow-up of hospital/physician claims to ensure timely reimbursement, manage accounts receivable, resolve denials, submit reconsiderations and/or appeals with documentation, identify payer trends, communicate with insurers and internal teams, ensure accurate documentation in the billing system, and achieve set metrics and compliance while maintaining a confidential remote work area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years experience in insurance billing follow-up or related field
- Formal training in Insurance Billing and follow up advantageous
- Proficient in communicating with patients, colleagues, management; able to work remotely
- Ability to meet CSAT targets and adhere to regulatory compliance
