Job Summary
Revenue Cycle Application Analyst responsible for in-person coordination and support of software applications across revenue cycle workflows. Collaborates with clinical and business teams to standardize processes, participates in testing and validation of upgrades, configures and maintains revenue cycle modules, develops training materials, and provides troubleshooting for IT issues related to revenue cycle and related EHR systems (Meditech Expanse MaaS preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of healthcare revenue cycle experience
- 2 or more years of supporting software systems or relevant experience
- Experience using and supporting multiple aspects of electronic health systems, such as revenue cycle aspects of clinical documentation, registration, utilization management, health information management, billing, claiming, finance, etc.
- Knowledge of Meditech Expanse MaaS EHR and Microsoft systems preferred
- Strong analytical ability
- Ability to use critical thinking to prioritize assignments and resolve open issues
- Ability to collaborate between revenue cycle and technical stakeholders on projects and initiatives
- Proficient with office suite applications
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management orientation
- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
