Job Summary
Lead consulting engagements from scoping through implementation for upstream oil & gas clients, defining objectives, timelines, and budgets while managing multiple projects to meet deadlines. Serve as subject matter expert on revenue accounting processes including revenue distribution, division orders, and month-end close, assisting clients in identifying accounting issues and operational risks. Support Quorum systems implementation, configuration, and upgrades, performing user acceptance testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate accounting results. Act as primary liaison between clients and software vendors, translating business requirements into technical solutions and guiding organizational change management. Mentor junior consultants and develop documentation to improve consulting delivery models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field
- Five or more years of experience in upstream oil & gas revenue accounting
- Strong knowledge of upstream oil & gas revenue accounting principles
- Advanced knowledge of Quorum Revenue Accounting (QRA), MyQuorum Accounting, and related Quorum applications
- Demonstrated experience with Quorum Revenue Accounting (QRA) and MyQuorum Accounting
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple consulting engagements simultaneously
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience facilitating software implementations, upgrades, and change management initiatives
- Ability to build strong client relationships and communicate effectively with executive leadership
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
Desired Qualifications
- Previous consulting or project management experience
- CPA or PMP certification
- Experience with Power BI, SAP, or other ERP platforms
- Experience working directly with upstream operators and/or consulting firms
