Job Summary
Collect and analyze data on hotel bookings, occupancy rates, and market trends to identify revenue opportunities and develop pricing strategies. Build complex financial models to forecast future performance and conduct quantitative research evaluating promotional campaigns and competitive positioning. Perform risk analysis for market fluctuations and prepare comprehensive reports communicating insights to senior management. Utilize financial software tools for data collection and collaborate with cross-functional teams on mergers & acquisitions projects. Requires proven experience in financial analysis within hospitality or investment banking, strong forecasting skills, and proficiency in statistical analysis. Reports to the Director of Revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial analysis, data collection, or related roles within the hospitality or investment banking sectors
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, forecasting, and risk assessment
- Proficiency in financial modeling techniques combined with advanced skills in statistical analysis and quantitative research methods
- Solid knowledge of mathematical principles, including statistics and quantitative analysis tools
- Familiarity with financial software applications used for data analysis and report writing
- Excellent analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial report writing
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights for strategic decision-making
