Job Summary
Prepare and present recurring Revenue Cycle KPI reports to leaders, proactively identifying unfavorable reimbursement trends and recommending targeted improvements. Audit data for accuracy and integrity to monitor payor behavior, collections, unbilled claims, and denials, while evaluating the effectiveness of improvement opportunities through dashboards. Conduct deep-dive analyses on revenue cycle processes with the management team to address process bottlenecks and changes in reimbursement patterns. Provide ad hoc analytical support to other departments and communicate root causes and solutions to all levels of the organization. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration and 3+ years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
- 3+ years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel, with expertise creating Pivot Tables to analyze data and generate detailed reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The Revenue Cycle Analyst must have a working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle
- Audit data for accuracy and integrity, along with demonstrating exceptional attention to detail
- Work with persons at all levels of the organization and interact with members of multiple departments successfully
- Work with minimal supervision to accomplish and carry out goals/objectives on time
