Job Summary
Revenue Accounting Manager based in Bangalore to lead ASC 606 revenue recognition for product, installation, and service revenues; manage month-end close, complex reconciliations, and variance analytics; develop accounting position papers for external auditors; oversee SOX controls; drive ERP and revenue automation tool implementations; provide data-driven analysis to support forecasting and strategic decisions; requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 6+ years of revenue recognition experience (CA/CPA/MBA or equivalent) with strong US GAAP/ASC 606 expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance (Chartered Accountant, MBA, CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on revenue recognition
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, including experience with multi-element arrangements and contract modifications
- Experience with ERP systems and revenue related modules (NetSuite, Oracle, RevPro, Salesforce)
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets
- Experience with SOX compliance documentation and testing
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
